Host checklist

A practical Airbnb cleaning checklist for better turnovers.

The best checklist is not long for the sake of being long. It should protect the guest experience: clean bathrooms, reset beds, clear kitchen, stocked basics, no trash, and a final look at what could hurt the next review.

Before the clean

Confirm access, parking, checkout time, check-in time, linen location, supplies, trash rules, and anything the last guest reported.

During the turnover

Reset bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, floors, surfaces, trash, towels, paper goods, soaps, coffee, and visible guest-facing details.

Before check-in

Review photos, low-supply notes, stains, left items, damage, odors, and ready status before the next guest arrives.

Before you book

The quote should answer the host questions first.

Timing

What are checkout and check-in times, and is the turnover window realistic?

Access

How will the cleaner enter, park, handle building rules, and reach supplies?

Linens

Are clean sets ready, where do used linens go, and is laundry part of the scope?

Proof

Do you want photos, supply notes, issue notes, or a ready-status handoff?
