Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to cleaning bookings with SHYNLI LLC through ShynliAirbnbCleaning.com. All timing is based on America/Chicago Central Time.

How to cancel or reschedule

  • Reply to your confirmation or reminder SMS.
  • Email info@shynli.com.
  • Call or text +1(630)812-7077.
  • Requests are effective when received. Processing may be delayed outside normal operating hours.

Cancellation or reschedule fees

  • More than 48 hours before appointment: $0.
  • 24-48 hours before appointment: $50 flat fee.
  • 12-24 hours before appointment: 50% of booked price.
  • Less than 12 hours before appointment, same-day cancellation, or same-day reschedule: 100% of booked price.

No-show or no-access

  • A booking may be charged 100% if the team arrives but cannot enter because of locked doors, wrong codes, missing keys, building/security denial, blocked access, guests not checked out, or no vacant window.
  • If entry cannot be obtained within 15 minutes due to access issues, the appointment may be treated as no-show.
  • If you ask the team to wait beyond 15 minutes and we can stay, waiting time may be billed at $45/hour, prorated.

Rebooking, refunds, and delays

  • If we successfully rebook the cancelled/rescheduled time slot, cancellation fees may be reduced by recovered labor revenue, excluding non-refundable dispatch or processing costs.
  • Refunds due from deposits or prepayments are usually returned to the original payment method, subject to bank and processor timelines.
  • If we arrive more than 60 minutes late for reasons within our reasonable control and cannot complete the booked scope, we may reschedule at no charge or issue a proportional credit.

Safety or unsuitable conditions

  • If service is refused or terminated due to unsafe conditions, prohibited conditions, access problems, or conduct issues, amounts related to reserved labor time, dispatch, travel, costs incurred, or work performed may be retained or invoiced where allowed by law.
